During the 2019 Legislative Session, Senate Bill 32, Act 43, amendments LA R.S. 40:1203.1 and R.S. 40:1203.2 whereby effective August 1, 2019, nurse aide training programs may utilize an Authorized Agency of the Louisiana State Police to conduct criminal background checks for Nurse Aide Training Program applicants.
